Those are really nice pictures. I was wondering what kind of camera do you have and what do you have to do to make the pictures blur like that. I'm a newbie when it comes to cameras but i heard you can play with shutter speeds to do things like that. Please tell me your secrets.

See what happens when you pace the track too much and go over plans too much.... over preparation...j/j.
here's how it works for me:
if you stand still and wait for the picture to come in front of the camera and snap it, the car will be blury and the back ground sharp (or both sharp if you have a fast enough camera)
if you follow the car with the camera and snap it at the right moment, the car will be sharp, and the background blurred.
ymmv

The technique is called a pan shot....I keep the camera on a slow shutter speed and follow the car keeping it in focus while the rest of the shot is caught in the motion. My first time actually trying the technique.
The camera is a old Sony DSC-F707.......

Sorry guys is probably something on BustedShocks side of the house, we were put onto a bigger server and with all of these storms performance has been sketchy......so you all aren't crazy......
