SCAT Crankshafts??? Anyone used one yet???
My motor is stock stroke and I want to keep it this way. But I am set up to turn 10K+ RPM and don't want to deal with crankshaft failures. This company http://www.scatcrankshafts.com is producing cranks for Honda/Acura applications but i'd like to get some feedback before I purchase one. I don't want to be the R&D Test Dummy on this one. If you know of another company whose crankshaft will be equal or better in quality and serve my needs, let me know.
as cool as it sounds, i'd be wary of any company who actually let "V-tech" get printed in their ads for the past 6 months...
...something's definitely wrong there.
i think there are others out there who make cranks, but what about balancing your stock assembly?

yes, i do know who SCAT is, but what does that have to do with it?
you're relying on thier past performance in a different market with experience that may or may not be relative to Honda performance. just because they can build V8 parts? like he said. he doesn't want to be the Test Dummy for this.
