How mucs $$$ to boost NSX......
i think the Bell Tech twin turbo kit is 6500 for the NSX. Im not sure though. Comptech makes a blower for it i think.
He is a friend of mine and he developed the TT kit for the NSX. You'll like it ALOT more than the blower.
i don't know how much it is, but at the track the other week, a CompTech supercharged NSX that parked right next to me ran an 11.9

Bell TT kit = $8800 + you need to buy extra injectors/controller
Comptech = $9800 All is included in the kit
Gruppe M= $9800 All is included in the kit
Basch Supercharger kit= $5600 Still in testing mode but you can buy it.
Those are the ones you can buy...or you can go custom made. These are the prices last time I checked which is somewhat long time ago.

The Basch Boost kit will be the way to go. Price is killer. Performance will be killer. And it's designed by Mark Basch, prolly the best NSX Tech in the country, with an un-parallelled reputation for customer service.
Don't buy a Bell TT kit without getting Mech Tech's fuel solution to keep your engine from blowing up. That said, a low-boost Bell TT will only dish out like 350 at the wheels, whereas that's like the starting point for the Basch Boost kit, with 5psi. Add an aftercooler and fancier fuel management (bigger/extra injectors, whatever), and you could run a few more PSI just as reliably, and I won't even speculate on the power output you could see.

NSX - $80,000 + Comptech blower $9,000 = $89,00, translates to 11.9
Integra GSR - $22,000 + Drag 3 (w\ all the goodies) - $5000 = $27,000 translates to 12.0 or faster
PS. You'll pick up more chicks w/ the NSX though

Yes but the Bell Kit is innovative, being that the turbos were placed BEYOND the cats. Therefor your NSX will have boost, but will run like it came with it. And it'll pass emissions without a hitch!
The problem with the bell kit is that it has a thoroughly shitty fuel solution that WILL destroy your engine if you don't do something about it. And it's way too expensive. And I've never heard much about Corky Bell's customer service unless it was someone saying something about how their kit was messed up or things didn't run like they were supposed to, etc. And it's more involved to install than the Basch Boost kit (which is significantly easier to install than the comptech kit).
Basically, *right now* if you want to bolt on reliable boost, get a comptech supercharger. If you want to do it *soon*, wait for the Basch Boost kit. If you want insane power and a big project, build a custom turbo. Someone I talked to (FastNSX?) said he uses the Bell Turbos, but everything else is custom.
Lastly, in reply to someone else's post, a comptech blower, last I checked, is still $9800, and AFAIK, you'd be lucky to dip into the 11s with one bone stock. They'll only net you like 330-350hp to the wheels (unless the one I saw on a dyno was tuned improperly). Maybe that is enough for 11s, I duno. And you don't have to put a blower on a new NSX. I fully expect that within a few months we'll see some '91-93 NSXes with stock motors, headers, exhaust, and Basch Boost kits at 5psi making 370+ to the wheels. That is if everything continues on the present course. As of NSXpo, the only problem with the kit was that they were having a problem with the coupling of the driveshaft to the blower, which they've since fixed. I haven't been following the discussions on NSX Prime's forums, though. Also, a turbo GSR is still front wheel drive. And you should also realistically include $3500 of big brakes in your NSX figures, since I wouldn't want that much power in an NSX without improving the brakes.
Then there's the question of how often you'll burn clutches.-Mike

Vortech makes a blower for the NSX. Its used on the Realtime NSX.
