Exhausts on Ebay??
Does anyone have any experience with the $160 cat-back systems for sale? Seems that for the money if they're all stainless and they fit well that it might be a good buy. My last exhaust, a Greddy, is toast and I don't wanna spend 4 to 500 again. Appreciate any feedback from GSR owners

It's one of the first Greddys- circa '96 I believe. Two years ago the packing came outta the can so I replaced it with OBX muffler, and that same year the resonator pipe rusted (I'm in the snow belt)so I had it replaced with a straight pipe (didn't like the upped noise level with that btw, but I kept it) and now there's a hole in another pipe and it's damn loud. Should I look into Kteller's piping and keep my universal muffler you think?
Ironically this lad spent 5 bills on a greddy and its "toast" so how praytell does your "get what you pay for" philosophy apply?

I bought catback for my old Si for $250 off ebay a year ago, it was awesome and really deep toned. The fitment was not as good as like N1's for example, I had to use a two spacers in the factory rubber supports. May not be worth the hassle.
There are many grades of stainless. The e-bay ones tend to be at the lower end of the spectrum as far as durability/corrosion resistance. You probably won't get 8 years out of it like the Greddy
