Default Nitrous wiring problem (I hate wiring!)

Ok I ran into a problem tonight when I went to use my nitrous tonight. I turned on my bottle heater and it worked for a minute or so then the fuse blew.

Here is how it is set-up: The power is coming from the engine bay fuse box which then goes to a 30 fuse to the toggle switch. I also have tapped into the wire right after the fuse to my nitrous activation switch but the fuse blew before I even touched this.

Could this be a problem with the ground? I admit I don't have the best ground. Will a bad ground blow a fuse? Any help would be great.

The ground sounds like a good possibility.
