Default help on putting a h22a1 in my 94 accord

Will a h22a1 fit in my 94 accord? I dont really want to go with the h22a engine, because I've heard the parts for Si engine repairs are way high, that'll really suck in the long run. I was thinkin about an acura Cl Vtec V-6 enginem, but i heard it's way to big. Any confirmations will really help. thanks 111111

The H22 will fit. That is no problem. I have one in my 94 Accord.

What do you mean by you "dont really want to go with the h22a engine, because I've heard the parts for Si engine repairs are way high"? The H22 is not an Si engine. As far as price for parts, it is the same as any other Honda motor.

I know you said never mind on the V6, but just to let you know, the only way to get a V6 to fit in a 94 is to tube chassis the front fo the car.

If you have any specific questions on the H22, please feel free to ask.

sorry about that i really need to proofread more often. I meant to type H23a1 as the Sh I didn't want to put in. How's the h22a1 workin for you? O yeah, if you were to buy a cat-back would you buy one to fit a Prelude or Accord. Same situation for a cold air intake. Before i buy i just wanna to know what parts are compatable for Prelude/Accord. Thanks.111 111

why wouldnt you just buy a weld on muffler and have pipe made to fit at a mufflers shop
I think you would use the CAI from a prelude im not sure but i think the main difference
would be where the intake manifold and tb sit on the h22 compared to where it was on the f22

You use the intake from the Accord. It needs to follow body lines. You also get the exhaust from the Accord for the same reason. You might need to shorten the exhaust a little bit though, depending on the cat.

My H22 is running great. I love the thing. It was the best investment I have made for that car yet.
