FS: Koni Yellow (Sport) rear shocks for 88 Civic/ITR. Showroom Stock Valving.
A few of you roadracers might be interested in these:
I have a few sets of Koni yellow Sports, brand new in the box. They are:
8040-1078SP SS.
SS = Showroom Stock Valving. Mr. Grimes told me that they should handle springrates around 800lbs or more. The valving was tweaked straight from Koni and they also have a shortened piston rod to prevent spring droop when your suspension unloads. Internally adjustable, so that's the only drawback.
Specific application is a 88 Civic/CRX, but they also work on the 97-01 Type R and any 89-95 Civic with the ITR LCA and 94-01 Integra with the ITR LCA.
$250 shipped for folks on this forum. IM me if you're interested.

EDIT: SOLD.

Damn she's been getting a workout in here lately. At least the free coupon books are getting around (like a record baby... spin me right round baby right round)

The 2800 series?
Bah, get these temporarily. You can run them for a year and probably still sell them for $200
Plus they are approved by .RJ's mom.

I believe someone on my forum tried it and they are too long. I don't remember the details, but there is a pure race shock from KONI that will fit.
