Those of you using Amsoil, are you changing the oil out according to their recommended interval (12mo, 25kmi)? This really does seem extreme to me. I just want ot double check. Also, is it significantly better than SuperSyn, and where is a good place to get good prices on Amsoil products? Thanks.

 

my friends dad is a wholesaler for AMSOIL. they have a package that comes with two monster oil filters that replace the stock one. its kinda on its own little platform thing. what you do is take a sample and send it to them and then they tell you if you need to change the oil, filter or leave it alone. all he does is add oil that is burned off.

on his 97 nissan truck he has almost 250,000 miles and has yet to change the oil. the filters end up getting changed about every 20,000 miles or so though.

now what that system does to the oil pressure i do not know. but i do know their products work exactly like they claim. I will be running AMSOIL as soon as i get back to the USA.
