Ok I've been hearing people say go LSVTEC with Type R tranny and then people say just use the LS tranny and use the 4.9 gear, But my idea was GSR block with Type R tranny and boost it for 1/4 and top end as well, so everybody what do you think is the better swap?

 

I forgot to add what final gearing would be better for 1/4 and top end? cause I will be boosting, and what tranny does anyone recommend?

what are your goals for the 1/4? i say keep it simple and go gsr with gsr tranny.

dont have one yet, Im just finding information so when I get the motor, I know what to do and wont post these questions later on down. I really thought about the b18c with Type R tranny, but I wanted to do both 1/4 and top end and boost the motor.
