can anyone tell me why I shouldn't
im getting a 2002 gti golf
was planning to fix up my eg,

Wassup ghostdog86, remember me??? If ur selling ur hatch, let me know... I might pick it up... But i say, keep it cuz it would be faster then the VW... But then i say sell it and get a VW cuz it looks pretty nice... So when other racers ask u "what do u drive" u dont have to say "same as every one else, a Honda"... Personally, i like both cars BUT i would choose the Civic... For the fact that im too cheap to pay for insurance and car payments... I rather spend the money else where...

Since the last time i talked u to, I had another accident with my hatch again... I was driving at 70mhp on 290 heading to work and my hood flew open and cracked my windshield and sunroof... So i got rid of it, didnt have much money at the time anyways...

probably 4500-5000

95000 miles on it runs strong with sohc,

As a former VW owner, last one being a 97 GTI VR6, I can safely say that if you're young and/or perform any modications to your car whatsoever, VWoA will be very unfriendly to you when it comes to warranty repairs. I loved the car, but hated the dealer network and VWoA backs the dealers decisions 100%. So if they believe a failure is a result of a mod you've perform or misuse and/or abuse of the car, they'll deny your claim and make you pay out of pocket.

Ah, so that was you.. hehe.. I've seen you several times at Chinatown. You raced my buddy Jimmy several times, in several different cars. I believed he raced you in a T2 RX7, Red SI EG6, Black SI EG6, a PY ITR, and a Audi TT. Don't you also own a BMW?

 

BTW, what do you have under you hood? There's always a hissing noise coming from your engine when you take off. Can it be a supercharger?

i know who ur talkin about that hissing noise wierd exhaust

 

So that wasn't you on the highway? I was on 90/94 also, and I passed up a EG6 HB at around 70 mph. Then all of a sudden, it comes flying by me, cutting lanes, and gets off the highway by the split.
