...at least for me anyway. I filled up the other day with 407 miles on my tank, 11.5 gallons to fill up! That's over 35 mpg. This wasn't even straight highway mileage, just my daily circuit between work, home, friends' houses, etc. with some VTEC'ing here and there. Pretty awesome for a 165K+ mile engine if I do say so myself.

It's not my best mpg so far (I got 36 one time) but definitely the most miles ever on one tank.

For some tech ummmm... use injector cleaner or fuel system cleaner at every oil change, and change the oil on time! That's all I can think of.

 

thats crazy dude, i usually get around 250, 275 if im really lucky and dont go into vtec at all. i got 130k on my motor!

my moms LS has about 152K and still gets ~320 on a full tank...

I should really change some of the basic stuff in that car...

my light comes on....at about 320miles. i get all afraid and fill up...only to find that i can only put ~10 gallons in. :crook

 

Oh yeah, that wasn't even the most gas I have ever put in at once, one time I pumped over 12 gallons (13.2 gal. tank).

i usually get around 32-35mpg's in my LS with 127k on the clock.

 

I get 360+ all freeway miles on my 97 LS....I go from la to chino then down to sfs sometimes hawthrone....I get around...I had shitty mileage when I used arco...I stick to citgo, chevron , or mobile....76 sucks *****... engine's got about 50k miles...I replaced it at 115k cause it started to burn oil (piston ring fried) best move I ever made.... wish I went with a B18C but for 400 installed I wasted the rest of the money on buds...both kinds....

 

thats some pretty good mileage, i have a honda hybrid for my 2nd car and i hit 300 miles and i still have a half tank of gas left 50-60 mpg

 

i only get like 21

 

I get about 300miles to a tank with city and some hard driving. I normally don't run the tank dry, so it's been 27-30mpg. Not sure what I could get with some easy driving, every time i've taken a tank easy(like this current one) i've gone out and went crazy on it for a night(last night musta been in VTEC more than I wasn't hahaha) The car is rather new to me, so I haven't had a chance to take it on a long hiway trip, I know my old civic that got 25mpg city once on the hiway could get 35+mpg so I'm hoping this car is even better :-D

I went over 500 miles on a tank in my old 89 RS. That was my record........

I use Chevron Techron concentrate.... my *** dyno says it enhances my cars overall performance

driving with the light on is very hard on the fuel pump, good way to waste money buying a fuel pump every year. It's like a heart when you lose to much blood, the tank(viens/arteries) is low so the pump(heart) has to work harder then it stops
