Default adding DA power steering to my EF? .....but I have a b18c swap! :o

I know it's a long shot - but has anyone done it?

DA power steering on an EF that has a b18c swap?

Or maybe any ideas on how to?

They aren't so different, the b17 and the b18.....

don't four door efs have power steering? I think this would be alot easier than da.

Just my 2 cents

Yes they do. Its probably best to use the pump and bracked from the DA,
and source the rest from a 4door EF.

This is not an option for me - as I need to use the DA rack b/c of it's fewer turns lock to lock.....

OK, I attemted to put a manual steering rack from an EF into my DA. The steering column did not line up with the steering rack shaft. I had to shim one side of the rack to get it to the correct angle. It can possibly be done.

And yes, there plenty of differences between the B17 and B18. they use different brackets and so forth.

You're kidding, right?

I'm sure you know, but the n00b13 lurkers may actually try that..... Don't do it kids - the turns to lock will be the same, but you'll be making much bigger circles in the cabin.....
