Optional Side Skirts
I have bought the optional ITR skirts via an American dealership a couple of months ago because the skirts are not sold in Europe.
I put the skirts on today and I saw that the part on the back is not pressed to the car completely. There is about 1.5 cm space between the diagonal part at the back of the skirt and the car. Is this normal for these skirts and if so, how did you solve it? Sticky tape?
I'm talking about these skirts and the diagonal part underneath the R sticker.

the skirt is supposed to come with clips, with double sided tape on them. one is the female side and one is the male side and it slides in together to make the rear stay snug with the bumper. something like that. sorry if i couldnt explain it well, but you can always get some 3M double sided tape.
if you didn't get any clips or adhesive, use 3M double-sided tape.
also, if that's your R, it looks sexy as hell with the polished lip and oem kit.

They usually come with a rubber piece that goes between the side skirt and the stock sheetmetal - so you don't scratch up your paint. I don't see the rubber on your side skirts... maybe it's just the pic you posted...
Here's an old pic of my kaa with the oem kit:

The yellow ITR is not mine. I just used the pic to explain what I was talking about. I have a championship white Euro ITR. (www.honda-integra.nl)
I have bought the skirts from a dealership near San Diego. A guy from another Integra forum hooked me up.

I don't see how a rubber can solve this because the gap is about 1,5 cm width. I am almost positive the skirt is fitted correctly because there is only one way, correct?

You are either missing some clips or one of the clips isn't in all the way. I had the same problem with mine because I broke a couple clips trying to get them on.
If your side skirts didn't come with instructions I have the complete instructions for the entire kit here http://www.pbase.com/jw___systems/oe...n_instructions
Easiest way to install them is to put the clip onto the side skirt first and then just push the skirt into the car.

This happened to a friend of mine who had these skirts. He ended up using black silicone to fill the gap. He took his time and it came out looking great.
BTW a painter at a local body shop found me and 2 friends the optional kits. They're out there, j00 just have to find them.

You should be able to get them ordered from any Acura dealership; I'm not 100% on this but these should be the part #s:
Molding, R.FR - 08P21-ST7-2M001
Molding, L.FR - 08P21-ST7-2M002
Molding, R.RR - 08P21-ST7-2M003
Molding, L.RR - 08P21-ST7-2M004
at least that's whats in the honda parts catalog...no pics though so I'm not sure if that's right

Discontinued.
I got mine from Radley Acura like a year and a half ago. They said they only had a few left. Glad I snagged them up
FYI a friend of mine got a set from an Acura dealer in Cali (dont know which one) Paid an arm and a leg, but they had a few sets in stock. This was a few months ago so who knows if they still have them.
