Default competition clutch ...... anyone have opinions?

I haven't seen or found too much on these clutches, and was wondering if anyone had heard or had first hand experience with them.

looking for: engagement, pedal feel, chatter, etc.

I'm looking at the strip series clutch 4puck sprung disc, but any opinions are welcome,

thanks.

I have a new Competition Clutch on my JDM ITR and I'm loveing it! I bought the Strip 1420(?) 4 puck. The clutch has an almost a stock feel to it, but when it engages...it grabs hard! All motor, I can rip through 3rd on Azenis.

I bought the clutch after visiting a local shop and seeing their "Wall of Fame". They had ACT clutches from several different engines that were destroyed hanging up on the wall.

I recommended the clutch to my friend after the rivets in the center of his ACT clutch decided to give way. We put the clutch on this weekend and he loves it too. Just to give you an idea of how much the clutch can handle, he drives around with 392whp at 9psi all day.

As for chatter, from a stop you need to give it more gas or it will shake the car, but its really not harsh enough to worry about.

If I remember correctly, Exedy and ACT are made by the same people...they both have the same stamping on the clutches...
