Any of you guys have the Kodoken (McGard) seat locks on your S?
Well, these locks are the same design as lug locks except they have a tapered head so you can't use gripping tools on them. It's really hard to get any tools on them also because they are in the recessed seat bracket. It's alot better than the regular bolts, which can be taken off without a problem right in your driveway.

It is a layer of security. If it makes it harder for a thief then it's worth it. If it stops a thief from being able to steal the seats out of my car while in the driveway then it makes me happy. Nothing is definitely going to stop a thief but the more layers the better chances he will choose another car. If you read about the locks you will see that they would he hard to get off even with tools. The heads are tapered so gripping tools will slide right off. They are also made hardened metal, which is hard to drill through. On top of that, they are installed with a thread-locking compound which will make it a bitch to remove without the key.
If someone were trying to steal my seats, i would rather have them steal my seats as opposed to attempting to steal them and mess up other parts of my car in the process. Who knows, they might get really aggrevated and do a little display of anger on your car. Just make sure your insurance covers that kind of theft

This lock is worthless without a convincing sticker on the windows.
And you'll most likely find a ripped top and ripped seat(s) anyways.
Sticker is key. Must look real and pro. Otherwise, your seats, car is still fockied.

That is true, the thief is not going to leave your seats non-slashed or anything but I would be happy if he didn't get away with them. I highly doubt the sticker will stop a thief from trying anyway. They may think you just have the sticker to throw thieves off.

Yes, there are thieves that steal the whole damn car just for the seats, headlights, and antenna. Anything that ricers would buy thieves will steal. Sad, isn't it?
The shitty part about it is to replace the OEM seats it is about 9 grand or so.
WRS2k: These are available to buy along with the locks for a few bucks.
