How much does the 16x7 weigh?

SSR Comps are a beautiful wheel. I am planning on getting the 15x7 Anthracite's. I believe they weigh around 8.6-9lbs. Tire Rack has a great deal on them too.

Do you know if it's available in the anthracite? How do I get in touch with A&J?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Yes, they are available in 16" This particular wheel is 16x7, 5x114.3, 42 offset
A&J can get them from Japan.

I agree these wheels are sweet and not as popular as some others, so it would be alittle different. I definately want the anthracite (sp) with the polished lip.

I have a set of the SSR intregels on my Cobra. They are the older ones with the skinnier spokes, but they look great mounted on the car. Got a great deal on them too. 3G for the wheels and tires which are Nitto 555s. They are still pretty light as well.

I think that data is erroneous; according to the SSR website, the 15x7 Type C (42mm offset, 5x114.3) weighs 4.71kg, which would be about 10.4 lbs.
Still very light though.
I have a set of 17" * 7.5" SSR type C (Competition) on my WRX and I weighed them at less than 11 lbs each. There is no way the 16" weigh as much as my 17's. It is possible that SSR (unlike Rays-Volk and Yokohama-Advan) lists conservatively high weights on their Web site. I do know this: My 17" SSR's are lighter than my 16" Advan RG's by about a pound!
Tire Rack is the official US importer and they offer gunmetal with a polished lip, but only in 15" and 17" sizes for the ITR. Shops that import directly from Japan can get the 16" size in gold and white. I don't know if the gunmetal/polished is available in Japan or only from Tire Rack here in the US. I have never seen gunmetal 16" ones, or I'd own a set!
Yeah, SSR Comps are a great rim. If I had the money, that would be my track and auto x rim.
There is a good reason why Real Time switched to SSR Comp. from Volk TE-37.
Weight!

I would reccomend the SSR for TRACK use only...they are lighter than the TE37 but I hear all too often that street use yields ruined rims. I dont think they are strong enough for street use...
