Alright here is the deal. I need a FAST Answer! I have a 93 GS-R ls/vtec. OBD1 running a Hondata S200 w/P28. I bought some used RC 310's off a guy on here. When he sent them to me they had the clips on them and the baggie he sent them in says "2000 GSR OBD2". I removed the clips because the plug works with my harness...I need to figure out if they are Saturated or Peak and Hold. Correct me if i am wrong but i need Saturated correct?? Is there a way to tell by physically looking at the injector or the part number?? I need to figure this out SOON! TIA guys.

You definately need saturated and RC's are saturated. Sounds to me like they should be fine.

 

Not all RC injectors are saturated.

Measure the impedance of the two pins and it should be about 16 ohms. High impedance/saturated injectors are 12-16 ohms (12 I think for the stock ND's and 16 for the RC/Lucas disc inj's). PnH injectors measure 3-4 ohms I think it is. Regardless of the absolute numbers, the impedance will be much lower on the PnH inj's compared to the saturated inj's.

However, RC only makes 310cc rated (@ 43.5psi) injectors in high-imp/saturated. The part number on the body should read something like SL2-310 I think. If it does, then it's saturated.

 

Thanx guys.....the part number is sl2-310 which matches what you said. And RC doesnt make a peak and hold 310cc from what i have seen.
