OK touph question, but please answer
Now im gonn ask this question and just answer truthfully, my car just got stolen, in Canada saddly, and this means imshoping for a new car.
I test drove a type r, 2002 gti 1.8t, and rsx type s
I hated the type s, loved the type r and loved the 1.8t
now...... the desicion come to this, the 1.8 t with a chip will run between 13.8 sec- 14.3 1/4 mile since its turboed. A type r will always be better handaling, but doesn't have the beutiful audi like interior, what should I do, a brand new 1.8 t or brand new type r (if I can find one)
p.s - Im not willing to spend more than $4000 (can) in upgrades in my car

personaly I would gowith the audi...its reay luxurious and quick, there are so many hooked up R's on the road these days, how many audi's that are hooked up do u see??
you want a **** mobile? Ill tell you one reason why you shouldnt buy a VW. They build the beetle and the cabriolet. 2 of THE BIGGEST chick cars available. You want to drive around in the sibling to a chick car?
Seriously get the R. The VW has crummy suspension and looks like ***-neck.
If you are so interested in q-mile times get an old 5.0 fox hatch for 10. Drop the 12 into it and i get you run 11s

also the type-r is naturally aspirated...and the 1.8t is turbo...im sure you know this, so obviously the 1.8t would respond to mod's easily...cuz they choke those motor's from the factory
I would not take a Type S over the Type R. No way in hell. I need to get out and test drive a VW one of these days. I've got absolutely no experience with them. I don't know anyone that owns one.
