B18A1 civic/CRX owners, i need your help
I have engine in and it starts fine having problems on 2 things(this is for a DX)
1.ok the vacuum lines on a b18a1 go to Fuel Pressure Regulator Control Solenoid Valve, Evap Purge Control Solenoid Valve, and MAP Sensor. My problem is that on a dx it only has 1 Control Solenoid Valve(do not know wich one) and a Map sensor. What do i do to get this to work propperly. Pics may help
2. i am getting 4 and 14 codes. really do not worry about 4 its 14. My car idles find but when i use the throttle and give it some gas it goes to about 3000 to 4000 RPM(don't have Tach) and starts bogging out. I test drove it and i can not get past about 20 kpm(roughly 10mph)this is in 1st gear. i have been told it might be EACV.

Some pics of your engine bay would be helpful. Code 4 is something you should be worrying about. It is most likely the cause of your bogging issue. Either the sensor is bad, or the wiring is not right. The EACV (or IACV) will give you a surging idle, but won't really affect your acceleration or performance. You need to either clean it out, replace it, or check to make sure that it is wired right.
