Default After Market Steering Wheel

Hey, I am trying to ge my momo steering wheel on my 2000 itr. I have already got the factory one off, but I'm not sure about the thing right under it. It is cirular, and there is a white sticker on it with SRS in bold letter, and then an arrow pointing upwards. It also has two prong things coming straight out of it. You guys who have done this, do you take that off, and then put the hub/adapter on, or did I get sent the wrong hub because my hub doesn't have the holes for the two prongs or the clip that is on this thing under the steering wheel. I hope this explained it well enough.

Thats the cabel reel you are looking at. You dont need this part with the aftermarket steering wheel, Pull it off.

But if he takes out the reel, he won't have a connection to the horn. Correct me if I'm wrong but the reel on a Type R carries the cables for the horn and SRS system.

I think that is true because the way the momo instructions are telling me to hook up the horn is wrong. Can anyone else tell me for sure. Is there any way to get a horn connection with the srs thing off??

yes...you need to make a "tab" that brushes the back of the wheel (connected to the negative wire) and acts as a ground.
