Polished Steelies

Since I didn't want to screw up my Riken wheels I practiced polishing my steelie wheel. After sanding all the way up to 2000 grit and some wadding polish, I must say dang they'er quite bling bling...I was just wondering if anyone else has done this. It might just be a me and VW owner thing. I'll rock it as a spare tire or something, but it's mirror finish. When I get the whole thing perfect, I'll post pics of it.

If they are steel then they will not last polished. they will rust after a while.
