any slamed s2000's "I NEED HELP"
you have many company that provide aftermarket springs for your car...
eibach,h&r, kg/mm, tein, etc...
ive been able to go for some test drives with the springs mentioned above and they all seems to ride similar... the ride height however,(from eyeballing lowest to highest) kg/mm, eibach, h&r, tein...

are you going for pure looks, because i dont believe any spring will make the car handle any better what so ever . . . if anything will just end up throwing off the balance of the car
actually there are a lots of s2k guys on s2ki.com that have their cars lowered... one of the guys said the buddy club springs are nice and another dude has the teins coilovers and he said the ride is nice as well.
s2ki ppl would be happy to give lots of info
edit: hope this is helpful...

the cheapest one for the $$$ are the Ground Controls. I have heard numerous stories about them on S2k's. For 300 bucks you cant beat'em I'd say. It also all depends what your gonna use them for. Autocrossing or just looks that sort of stuff. Myself i like the Spoon Showas they run like 2 grand but they use the Showa shocks that come with the car and Spoon springs. Tein are great and so are the Buddy Clubs cause they come with the adjustable mounts. Basically the shocks on the S are perfect but the springs could be stiffer. Its your choice cause i can go on and on. Happy shopping y0!

i use kgmm (race) springs and koni yellows. the drive isnt that bad. its a bit stiff imo. it almost feels like stock when you stiffent up the shock. but it sort of ride smoother as you adjust the shock.
in total it cost me 800. if u have the money i would invest in full coilover w/ adjustable damping like tein. most people who spend big are usually ballers or people that autocross. i chose the 800 because i dont really race my car. it would be too much of an opportunity cost if somthing happen to it.

to me 400 koni shocks and 200 coilovers are cheap 600 in suspension you can even buy a goof coilover system for that (full body)
face it hondas are cheap

- any slammed s2000s ? but then you say you don't want to go too low? doesn't make sense...
- but anyways, I have been researching suspension for a while and all I want is to be as low as I am right now... DUMPED
- I have looked into full coilovers, but haven't found any that go as low as I want...
- my comptech adjustable springs just came in and im still waiting for my koni yellows, and yes both will be adjusted ALL THE WAY down...
- my setup right now, customized lowering

look koo, but for handling on anything but a perfectly smooth RACE COURSE,
it would be completely useless,
even with the best coilovers or spring/shock combo,
there simply isnt enough suspension travel in there to be had
you can tell just by look at the car from outside,
the friggin hood is like 2 inches away from the rim of the fender.
and the tire is like an inch in that fender...
and i'm guessing the wheel or other suspension components would hit something before you even got that ONE ******* inch of travel

- yea.. but not everyone tracks their car... suprisingly, my car doesn't bottom out at all...
- touring cars are dumped to the extreme and they seem to handle good
but like I said, it won't be seeing tracks anyways

Are you sure it's not bottoming out? You'll never know until you go "quickly" around a turn and hit a bump, therefore riding the bumpstop and not getting proper shock dampening. In fact, you don't have to be going around a turn to bottom out the shocks; going over railroad tracks will have the same effect.
Race cars such as the touring cars you mentioned have modified suspension mounting points. They aren't lowered via spring perches and lowering springs. The positions of their control arms are moved/altered as well as the contorl arms themselves to lower the car and retain shock travel.

IMO, it isn't a good idea to get lowering spring/sleeve/shock combo for looks if you plan on getting a true coilover system in the future. I did this with my ITR and I basically wasted money buying lowering springs when the true coilvers I bought later accomplished the same thing with better performance for a little more money.

do you even know what botoming out means?
I dont mean your car hitting the ground,
I mean the bottom of your suspension travel.. hitting the top at full compression.
like the bumpstop hitting the shock.
all cars bottom out, including yours.
it just depends on what it takes to bottom it out, some bottom out easier than others.
either your car defys the laws of physics somehow,
or your front suspension is so stuff it doesnt compress enough to use up that little bit of travel you have.
if you think thats a good thing.. then all the more power to you buddy

My friend has Spoon race suspension on his s2000 and then put 18" SSR's on it, and it looks nice and low. There's also a C-Wings front bumper to help it look lower

in person, the car looks lower and the rims look way bigger than whats shown in pic 2.
and thats my car behind his in pic 2 lol
