What would you keep? Stock LS with 100k Miles or Stock GSR with 140k Miles?

I have to get rid of one or another, and a few of my friends told me to just sell the GSR due to the high mileage. Well both are 97, and is stock. What do you think I should keep?
Well do you plan on doing any work to either of the cars? That's a lot of milage on either to start working up unless you planned a swap or something, in which case I would agree with selling the GSR because insurance is more.
For one, what kind of condition is each head in?
Second, 100k for a honda, isn't much at all. That LS head is fine. 140k is getting there for that GSR head, however still holds more value then the LS head....
It depends what your goals are for your car? We can't answer which one is better if we don't know what they are going to be used for.

well ls block='s good start for boost
and a gsr block='s high compression good for NA applications and maybe turbo if you lower compression..
its up to you.. the gsr blocks goin to need a rebuilt anyways, so when you do that, you can go either rout, but make sure you know be4 hand so you can get the right pistons to have the right compression for your choice

keep the GSR. product prices differ, but not greatly. rebuild the GSR motor if you feel unsafe about it. LS market value pull alot less than GSR's do.
If you did feel like it you could sell the GSR make cash, then dump that right into a turbo kit for the LS. thats the only way id keep the LS.

keep the ls if youre gonna use it as a daily driver. if youre gonna do mods to it, sell both and get a better car

Only 140K???? That's nothing to a Honda motor(with regular maintenance and r +r of course) I have 3 Honda's and all of them have been to the track on more than one occassion. 88 CRX Si(140K), 92 Civic hatch(186K), and 94 GS-R(180K). Both those cars still have a long life.
140k is nothing , the car is stock, so it probably hasnt been driven all hard for those 140k, i say sell the ls, buy a type r engine, trans, ecu, and some good suspension, sell the gsr stuff, and buy even more stuff for your car, but its just my opinion

keep the gsr, 140k isnt high mileage. If you mantain the car it will last a long time. I say keep the car stock. I dont see the point in spending thousands of dollars on making a front wheel drive economy car fast.
WOW, I can't belive what I'm hearing. GSR head shot after 140k? lol Yes if you change the oil 5x .
Do you want an LS or a GSR? Which one was taken better care of?
Honda's are bulletproof if maintained. If you mod it they are still bulletproof if you do it right and keep it tuned.
Mileage means ****. Maintence and driving habbits count.

Keep them both. Its always nice having a backup. You should use the GSR head and then port the LS head while its just chilling there in your garage.
Trust me, its always good to have a backup

If you could sell for 9 grand combined then the person buying is either a complete moron or he just has cash growing out of his ***. They won't go for anywhere near that amount combined. He'd be lucky to get 6k out of both of them. Lucky....
I still say keep them both.

Here in California integras are pretty expensive, 94-95 GSRs sell for $7,500 a lot of times. He has two 97 integras, he could easily get 9 grand combined here.

keep GSR, the GSR is far superior to the LS.
being that i own a TYPE R and a GSR and ive had an RS......you would be retarded to spend the money on an ITR motor...
just keep the GSR....140k is not even half of a honda's life
The gsr engine is a killer building block to start off of

With some of the responses that have been given, I'm surprised anyone ask anybody for an opinion. The amount of misinformation given out is out of hand.
Both cars are great platforms, decide what route you want to go and what you want to have.
