Default Lightened Valvetrain

I recently built a b20/vtec with a type r head w/ ss valves and kms engineering dual springs and titanium retainers w/ stock honda keepers and I also lightened my rockers by 5 grams each and micro-polished my rocker shaft. What I am wondering is if any one has anything similar and if it is reliable in the higher rpms. Also does the lightening of the rocker actually help performance or was it all for nothing??
yea or nay?
