Cutting your springs will improve looks but your car will handle much worse than stock. Ride quality sucks.
Cheap springs and coilovers are good for show only. Your car will sag under weight and bottom over bumps.
You will want the Ground Control coilovers that are specific to a B series swap. Pair those up with some decent struts, like Tokico Illumina, Koni, etc. Alternatively you could buy the Tokico Illumina coilover set. Tein is popular but I don't have personal experience with them, but I know that you don't want their cheapest set. If you cheap out on the struts or buy generic springs, you can forget about handling.
Optimum ride height on a EG is about 1.75 inches lower than stock. Or about a 44mm drop.
