Wheel polish Q's?
I have a set of blades that are painted gunmetal. The color is gross and I wanted to restore it as best as I could to stock. Any way to do this?
Or is it possible to aircraft remove it and polish and clear coat the rims. please help

aircraft stripper then rubbing compound to buff them out to polish. then take them to a powdercoater and get them powdercoated clear. its well worth the $$. my friend got his 20's cleared and now all he needs to do to clean them is a microfiber clothe and there bling blingin

Not like a polished surface but...don't know how to describe...more like Si wheels or pre04 S2000 wheels? I'm tired of the stock wheels (look to bland/plain) but I'm worried it won't turn out the way I want it to (not sure how it looks under the OEM clear, paint, and primer).</TD></TR></TABLE>
if you striped the base, since it is mostlikely metal. my brother just primered and painted his steelies white. hopefully post it tomorrow when its done.

that was the kind of finish i was looking for but i dont think its possible unless you pay someone alot of money. I was wanting to do this at home as a DIY. So sanding it down to baremetal and then using rubbing compound then polish would look close to stock blades rite? and then clear
