Default the hatch gitters

Ever since i bought my car, i have noticed that the rear hatch gitters like it is a little loose when ever i drive over not so nice pavement. If someone pushes up on the glass while going over these patches, it doesn't bounce or anything. Is there anything i can do to take cre of the bouncing that goes on there?

I have a 2000 gsr and have removed the entire interior and paneling in my car minus the dash to install dynamat. Getting ready for big stereo. Dynamat helps a lot for rattles if there isn't something loose. I have fixed all of my rattles but the sunroof. In my trunk hatch there was a rattle that I got rid of by removing the rear wiper motor from the glass and putting a strip of dynamat in between the motor and the hatch. Also found the connector for the third brake light rattling against the metal over bumps. Also just put some dynamat behind it. Now have a rattle free hatch but that damn sunroof....................

Forgot to add that I found a big rattle where the actual latch secures to the trunk. Just removed the latch and insulated with dynamat and rattle is gone.

When you say put dynamat behind it, what exactly are you putting it behind?

I mean apply it to the metal area on the car that the panel or component attaches to.
