Default performance parts for a zcdohc?

Hey guys, I havent decided on wether ill get a b16a1 motor for my car or a zcdohc. The only thing that would make me go for a zc is price. How hard is it to find preformance parts for one? What kind of stuff have some of you guys done to your zc and what are you running in the quarter mile? I can get a zc, tranny and ecu for 750. the complete motor swap for the b16a1 is 1200, plus free shipping. There is a 550$ difference, could I tweek a zc to match a b16a1 with 550? There is only 30 horse power difference. thanks for any info.

the B series is a better platform overall.

I had a ZC and it was a GREAT motor for what I wanted. If it's just a DD and you are on a budget, then a ZC w/ I/H/E will do fine IMO. My EF hatch w/ ZC I/H/C/E, AEM alt pulley, and suspension would keep up w/ lots of cars. I was able to keep up w/ my friends rsx type s w/ CAI & exhaust up until 3rd gear VtAcK, and I could easily hang w/ EM Si's. HTH some.

But again, overall, if u have money, and plan to really build then the B series will be way better.
