Is anyone using a JDM P73 ECU in their ITRs? If so, are you guys having problems running your AC with it? Reason i am asking is because i am running a JDM ITR P73 with my GSR motor and i can't get a signal for the compressor clutch. Thanks.
oh man! You are in danger of causing engine damage. GSR engine and a JDM R engine are really two different animals.. Fuel maps and timing are going to be way different.

The car is actually a 2000 civic DX with a 97 JDM GSR. I just want to know if the ECU support AC or if they do it differently than our north american cars. If they do support AC, it might be in the wiring or i havn't wired something that the ECU needs. Funny thing is that the condensor fan works and kicks on, revs will go up a bit....just not the compressor.

Really??!?! I honestly didn't know this and it's news to me. If it makes it better, i am running a JDM GSR Engine (10.6 compression) with ITR cams.....
Since you are from Japan, does JDM ITR come with AC? I know there was a few years when it didn't.

JDM R's have AC's as a factory option...not too sure if they have different ECU's for AC and non-AC models...seriously doubt it. JDM R's have 11:1 compression out of the box and more aggressive cams on the 98+ models. I used a reprogrammed ECU from a 96 spec once and it made the car run lean and hot. Funny thing is is that it also shaved off 6-tenths of a second of my 1/4 mile. But when I pulled my head, the pistons were showing signs of running hot.
Just be careful and watch your A/F.

There is freon because honda charged up and pressure tested the system a week ago. And i have hard wired the compressor by bypassing the relay and it fires meaning the compressor is working fine. Just for some reason, the ECU is not sending a signal (Pin A17 'ACC', 12V if AC is off, 0V if AC is on)....for some reason, it's always reading 0V......but the compressor is not firing....strange.

Fro those who cares, those who helped, and for the future dare devil that is going to install AC, i finally got around to working on the car again and found my problem. Here it is:
It was so simple, yet so stupid! All thanks to honda Quality control! The problem lies within the underdash fuse/relay box. Basically, the worker who asembled my car shoved one of the plugs into the bottom of the fuse box "the redneck way" bending the AC compressor pin. There was no contact all along hence no signal to the AC compressor! Tested for continuity and found the problem! So much for honda QC! But i am happy that it works!! Thanks to those who helped!
