Default Slicks? Yeah I searched, but what better opinions

03 Accord, I want to try slicks.

What is a DOT approved tread that I can use that still counts as street? And 15's, but what's the width I can fit. Right now I'm running 17x7.5 Rota Subzeros, probably could squeeze another inch before hitting.

Thanks

looks like I can squeeze a 25 inch or less tall, 8 inch wide...

slightly smaller is better? a little more power to hit the ground, but there must be a point where you sacrifice the patch touching the ground.

A 25 is a pretty big slick man, any mods to that car?

guessing around 185 hp @ 2800 lbs without spray. I have horrible wheel hop when trying to launch, learning to slip the clutch. spray in second with a 75 wet shot.

so far the car traps around a 98 mph, my 60' are horrible at 2.4 secs. I've added a bottle heater and hope that see traps over 100mph

never messed with slicks, need some help

yes, the car is slightly stripped...

I got a NEW pair of M/T 23 x 8.5 x 15 that will work perfectly for your Accord.

You can use a 15" rim

$100.00 each plus ship.

Im me if you are interested.

I'm curious if there is a point where too much is too much and the motor will bog down. Right now I've found that launching anywhere above 2grand is wheel hop. anything less is bog then some hopping.

using potenzas with 17" rota's subzeros, just pulling up and running, no warming up the street radials.
