Type-R canuck style. Club it, arm it and keep it on blocks.

Rides a bit stiff. Better than Omni-Power, Zeals, KYB's, Ohlins plus height adjustable -- stiffness NOT.

Just this past Wednesday on our way to the camera store, I got cut off by a driver assuming no one was in the right lane. I was less than a 1cm away on both fenders from writing the front end off. His silver 4dr civic on my left and a concrete curb on the right.

After the incident my emergency brake light came on and I noticed I had to push the pedal to the floor to stop. Of course having no practical sense Baby Nsx and I soldiered on and went to the camera store. lol

Afterwards we took the wheel off and noticed what can be seen below. The stainless steel brake line had broken.

It had rubbed on the suspension components over time and had deteriorated.

Did you have your line zip-tied to the shock and more importantly what did you get at the camera store?

Great first pic

Having no zip ties owned me with the first SS brake lines I had. I bought some Goodridge SS lines DOT approved SS lines with mounts this time around.

Here are some more pics from the day.

Thanks Baby Nsx "the master" for the install.

PS. I didn't buy anything at the camera store. Someone was pushing me towards getting a Nikon D70 but I just didn't like the feel of it. Thanks for asking.

Mounting...

A guard dog on duty, right Baby Nsx. lol

Topping it off with Motul RBF 600

one of my front brake lines rubbed through the zip ties that were holding it on to my shocks, and started rubbing on my axle and finally snapped while I was slowing for a stop from about 65.

None of our local stores have the D70 yet (well actually I haven't looked for a month or so) so I haven't got to physically check one out yet. From what I've been reading it sounds like a good deal though. Dunno though, if I was gonna spend that much I'd probably suck it up a little more and go for the 10D.

I didn't like the D70 compared to my film F80 body because it lacked the optional grip. Also the D70 body costs about $300 more than the 300D in Canada.

I picked up an Olympus 5060 which in my opinion is a capable point and shoot camera. It's smaller footprint than my film SLR, comes in handy for those occasion where I desire instant feedback, 28mm-105mm len coverage, RAW support and delivers clean images from 80iso - 200iso.

D70 has a huge learning curve - but takes some very nice pics - and is more versatile than the 300D.

I haven't found the lack of a vertical grip to be a handicap even with my monster 70-200 VR lens on.

I've had mine about 2 months now and love it - the only sad thing is I don't have more time to take pics.
