Default Oil leak from drain plug, any solution?

I got an oil leak from the drain plug on my DA, i replace the plug but it won't tighten up. Is there any solution without gettin a new oil pan. I read other post about using teflon tape, could anybody explain the procedure on doing that.

The previous owner of my car took half a dozen little metal slips he cut from an aluminum sheet and layered them, then tightened the drain plug real tight and so far, it hasn't dripped any.

WITH a crush washer mine dripped, so i took the washer out, got a new drain plug and pu tit on WITHOUT a washer, and it doesn't leak anymore

i've heard that the auto tranny drain plug fits the oil drain hole, and it's magnetic to catch metal floating around...but i haven't confirmed this..

I have never heard this before.
Was the crush washer new?
Almost all oil leaks are from re-usig a used crush washer.
The crush washer isn't supposed to keep it from dripping, that's the job of the drain plug. The washer is used to keep the drain plug from being over-tightened.

when i got my car it never had a crush washer, and i continued to use the existing drain plug...for over a year..well a few months ago, i bought a new crush washer, and drain plug...it appeared to leak a little, so i removed the washer, and just use the new drain plug ONLY now...
