lower CR on DOHC ZC using PM6 pistons?
I used the calculator at http://www.knology.net/~jediklc/D.htm and left everything except the pistons stock for a DOHC ZC, for that I put in a6 pistons and came up with a CR of about 8.12:1. I know this is pretty low, but I'd like to boost my zc with oem parts. With these pistons and good management what's a safe psi I can run?
Well, if your going to stick with oem parts, why lower it, the zc has a decent 9.x :1 compression ration, will work fine, run about 8-9 psi to be safe, using turboedit for managment, and 450cc injectors....

Exactly, the dohc zc's 9.5CR is fine, people boost stock b16's etc with 10.2:1+ CR, its all about how well you tune it. And if you have an sohc zc I believe its CR is 9.2:1....I believe.
