He has made a deal with me WAY back in July, and has failed to pay my balance of $200. This has been ongoing for quite some time, and the latest thing is now that his 'girlfriend' has his AIM (which is MRJDMMAN, start spamming guys!!) and email address, as well as phone number. She claims that my requests for money are harassment.... go figure.


Can anyone provide advice on how I can get my money?!? I can use any help you local MD guys can provide!

note to admins: he claims he is on this board, but I dont know his ID. can anyone track it by his name?

That sucks, but what exactly happened here, what did you pay for and not get or send and not get paid for?

 

to make a long story short:

he offered a trade and cash for my jun type 3's, springs and retainers for his jdm itr cams, springs, and retainers. cash amount to be paid to me was $400.

he paypaled me $200, i sent my setup, he sent his setup with a 'claimed' MO in the box for $200. i told him there was no MO. he said he would cancel the MO and send me another, or paypal me. this was all in july.

he skirted around the issue, saying he has been busy traveling and crap. now, whenever i attempt to contact him through email, his 'girlfriend' claims that he is at school and will mail a check. this has been since early september. apparently she uses his email and aim. go figure. (is there even a 'she'?)

most recent - i call his house number, leave a voicemail asking him to call me and his 'girlfriend' emails me, stating that i am harassing her, and she was going to mail the money (back in september, mind you.), but b/c im now harassing her, she wont.

so, b/c i left a voicemail for RON, im harassing her?? i dont even know who she is, and his voice was on the machine. how did she even get involved?

ive asked for his 'school' contact info, to no avail.

all i have is an address, 2 cell numbers which dont seem to work, and a house number with his voice on machine.

what the hell can i do?!!?

this guy cryed that he was afraid of being ripped off, called me numerous times to verify MY validity, and now he flakes on me!!

DAMN I'M MAD.

 

Hey bro, i know him. All that came out of Jspec ITR motor right? He is honest guy. He has been busy going to school. Don't know why he has taken so long though. Yeah he does have a girlfriend. Anyway, I'll talk to him and ask him what's up though. The dude has money so, I don't know what the problem is. I'll let you know asap.

parents own some $3mm home in ohio.

he told me all this, so why is it so hard to get a lousy $200? lucky im not looking for damn interest on the $$ by now.

That is why you never give up the goods until you've received full payment. If they're worried about you ripping them off then find another buyer. I never screw around with partial payment and stuff like that. Provide them with some references and if they still cry about it then find someone else.

 

Didn't this incident happen back in July? And today's date is...NOVEMBER 10,2001? Hm....4 months of busy school work, traveling, and yet can't fork up $200? He must be a rocket scientist if he's been busy with school this long.

 

That's what I say too, July, August, September, October, and now November. Just slacking, I hate people like this, even if he intends to get you your money. You live in New York, and he lives in Maryland, I think I would drive out there and recoupe it, it can not be that long of a drive, and take the interest out of his rear.

I know this guy too. And i actually drove that endyn CRX. It is pretty bad ***. I don't think Ron would rip anyone off. I send emails back and forth with this guy quite a bit. you should try to call him or some thing befor you bad mouth some one on the board.

Sorry to hear that you got ripped off...I am never going to buy anything again unless i can pick it up....most definetly not going to buy anything off the partstrader again....seems like 9 out of 10 people that sell stuff on that site are ******* thieves...I've been ripped off 3 times in the past month on that site

 

I just got ripped off on a set of 2000 Si rims with Nitto rubber off of thepartstrader... or so i thought... I sent the money and got nothing... $515 down the drain... if i find this guy i will break his legs... for me he went under the name Tommy Tomson... for another guy that got ripped off his email name was Fred Flinstone... email addys: lude6969@hotmail.com and sicksol@hotmail.com.... he is from stoney creek ontario canada...hes a bastard.. if you know this guy tell me so i can find him and break him.

Have you even been paying attention? Christ, this a-hole keeps holing on to $200 for MONTHS now, and I believe our friend here has given him PLENTY of time to make things right, so a little call-out on an MB isn't too harmful.

Do you know how much an ENDYN build-up costs? $200? Shouldn't be too much for the guy. YOU might want to re-think what you type before you type it. I'm not ripping YOU, just your thought process on your comments in favor of a $200.00 THEIF.

Oh, and if the guy e-mails you all the time, then WHY can't he send an e-mail to his VICTIM?

Finally, I'd drive down there and GET the money. You have his address, so go get your $200. i'm not saying beat him down over $200, but if he doesn't pay up, I'd settle it one way or another if you've truly been ripped off.

$200 isn't worth beating someone for, and it sure isn't worth going to JAIL for after you've beaten the guy down. Ever been? Yeah, you won't go back over $200 I promise you.

Oh now, the phone number? That's a different story. I'm all about some non-stop annoying phonecalls to this *****. That's still harmless, but VERY annoying nontheless.
