Experience with Corbin seats?
I have the Corbin factory Yamaha seat on my FZR.
It's more comfortable than the stock seat (sits slightly higher), but I don't like the material it is made of. It's to slippery which is both good and bad. Bad in that I slide around when I don't want to, good in that when I want to move around it's easier. Not all of them are like that though, it could be just the material they used for the Yamaha bikes.
The biggest problem is the company itself. They are a fine example of **** poor customer service and I would never buy another one, or recommend one. They quite simply ******* suck.
Check out Sargent seats. They are cheaper, just as well made, and they care about their customers.

Yeah I was looking into Sargent, but from the looks of their website, they don't make seats for Yamaha R6s...I have NO idea why. Kind of pisses me off. So I e-mailed them asking what the hold up was.
Anyone else have some input?

I have a Corbin seat, too (CBR600F3, Gunfighter and Lady Corbin model). It's really comfy, but I haven't experienced any inadverdent sliding in mine. Definitely a butt-saver for those long highway trips.
i just picked up a older corbin seat for my gix, ebay
the leather is not weaved like the newer seats so it is a little slippery, with my stock seat i found myself constantly backing up to keep my ***** of the tank, with this seat i dont have that problem and of coures for longer trips much more comfy. since the seat is more of a sadle you cant move left to right as easily as the stocker so for track days i would save the stock seat.
