Taking a break from autocrossing...
Well, I'm a college student, and my grades for this semester suffered, due to too much involvement with my car. That involvement included a speeding ticket, trying to repair the car during the week before finals (I hit a curb) so I could go to a 2 autocross weekend right before finals, and the rest of the numerous autocross events that I attended.
So, my parents and I have made the decision that I should stop autocrossing until I'm back on track with my GPR and course requirements. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to get my priorities straight! I probably will not see another autocross for at least 7 months, if I'm lucky...
So, should I install my Carbotech Bobcats now?

I know how that goes. I am still in school full time, work full time, and race honda challenge. It is a lot to manage, but it is worth it to me. Hope you get things back together.
Good choice. I have been out of "the scene" for a while now due to school. School is much more imporant to me so that is where I focus my time and engery. I am waiting to get out of college and get a solid job before I really start to get back into then. I figure I wait now, then play hard when I have the $$. Although, I did get a motorcycle 2 weeks ago so that should hold me off for a little while.
Good luck with the future.
I have three more semesters to go, but no money to dedicate to autocross (outside of entry fees), so once last year's Victoracers are done for, the MR2 will be done with for auto-x until after graduation.

Yeah, I think I'll install the bobcats tomorrow since I'm not done putting everything back together after replacing my lower ball joint.
Anyways, I will at least keep my money in my pocket for much longer, since I won't have to worry about buying tires/wheels for now. So, this summer I'll focus on what little work I have to do for summer school, make money, and get myself in shape (exercise).

Don't **** your self over with school. You'll regret it. Some people will disgree and claim they're perfectly happy without an education. I say, its pretty much too late for any of us to make F1, and I don't see why Honda Challenge is more fun when you're 20 than when you're 26.

next thing to school of course car is a big part of life for most of us people on honda-tech. i agree that school is really important and something not to mess around with. i did my time of not doing well at school.
do well man. next time I should see you kicking some scores at autox and graduating too.
