1st yes i tried searching and didnt find the answer i was lookin for. I just put on my 1st hamp filter i got the long one #15400-plc-004 and when i put it on when i tightened it i just stopped like it was completley flush with the mounting surface. this isnt like normal oem filters where you can keep turning when it comes in contact with the mount surface. after screwing it on and it all of a sudden stopping i backed it off a little. it this normal for the hamp's to just stop turning or did i go way way to far.

 

no one runs hamps or something?

 

i used to run hamp fiters on my gs-r and they ran reallly well, but i think what you did is, when you put it on you didnt line it up all the way but it would stay on just at an akward angle make sure that you lined it up correctly and it should screw on just like an oem one because the hamp filter is just the oem one of japan.

 

but if its at a weird angle wouldnt oil spill out there are no puddles ender my car
