I want to upgrade to a CD player in my 91 hatch. I want an OEM unit to cut down on possibilities of theft. I have the opportunity to get a 97 Accord Cd player for CHEAP. The Accord unit has a 16-pin connector. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 88-91 Civics have a 16-pin plug for the radio, right? If so, are the 16-pin connectors the same configuration as on the 97 Accord's radio. If not, what factory Honda radio is compatible for plug and play in a 91 Civic?

 

uhmmm..i have a prelude deck that i pulled out of my 89 dx right when i got it...i dont see why that would be any different...
