Alright I tired searching and just keeping find everythign but the answer I am looking for.

So, You can put a Y8 head ona A6 block , right?
A6 pistons wiht Y8 head will yeild a higher CR , right?
their is no problem using A6 block with OBD2, right?

Basically all D16 blocks are the same correct??

A6 block might not have provisions for OBD-2 knock sensor.

 

And unless you swap the oil pump from the OBD2 car, you won't have a crank fluctuation sensor.

 

well you wouldnt need the knock sensor or the crank fluctuation sensor if you were running it in a crx or pre obd civic. It all depends on which ecu your running obd0, obd1,obd2 ( why would you run this?). If you were running obd1 yes you need the knock sensor unless you get your ecu chipped to bypass that sensor.

OBD1 SOHC VTEC do not come with KS, that's the OBD2 shizzle.

 

A guy has a A6 block for sale I am looking for a block to build .

It will be used in my 97 Civic. which is OBD2 of course

I just wanted to make sure that everythign woudl be cool wihta A6 block .
