hey what o2 sensor does the sir b16a1 use. if i were to replace it with a new one. which do i buy?

 

I think the ones for thee 99si work but not to for sure correct me if im wrong

 

obd2,i thought that the one for the del sol vtec wouldve worked..but it didnt
because of that

 

if the engine is 89 to 91 use O2 sensors from a 88-91 CRX or Civic.
if the engine is 92 to 95 use O2 sensors from a 94-95 Del Sol DOHC VTEC

 

i used a 95 delsol vtec sensor but it looks nothing like mine,so i am not sure what to do

 

A friend of mine used the one from the Del Sol vtec. His was a sir2 motor.

ya know those fools at the mesa arizona emissions office i swear are all imbred,in fact i think its the worst case of imbreeding since the claytons....damm all of those people down there should even be allowed to run safisticated machinery.they are a danger to them selves and others,.......

ohh yea heres what they failed me at..nox.i needed to be at 2.50 and guess what i was at,2.61.....damm,

 

all 88-91 cars = any honda 1 wire 02

92-5 cars = b16a, sohc vtec, DX = 4 wire 02
92-5 cars = cx/vx = 5 wire
92-5 JDM cars = sohc vtec, zc, d15b, = 1 wire 02 9any honda again)
92-5 JDM SiR = b16a, b18c, b18b = 4 wire

 

I am sorry man...but no need to curse God for a stupid O2 sensor problem....or for any problem at that. I prolly have some of those stupid one wires laying around.

 

yeah but he got aot closer than what he was before...i lent him my exhaust and new cat. and it bought him to that 2.61, they really screwed him. he went in 10min before they were about to close and this was his last pass...and they waved him off. saying his car was to low, and was unsafe to drive. all this after being there a few hours earlier and he barely failed with that 2.61. we spent about an hour swapping exhaust and cats, and he almost passed. now he whas a new o2 (88-91) and that should bring him in...

hey bro like i said before...No Problem! i am more than happy to help...i'll be doing my ZC swap this weekend around 10am or so you may need to come by early and swap out those exhaust again. and thnaks for that rear compartment...if you find that other part i wanted let me know...

 

yea ive got that part too ill bring it saturday.if your awake ill stop buy around 830-900 on saturday to borrow the exaust...then i can get in and out of that damm imbred establishment (az emissions). so give me a hoot or ill call you tomorrow or thursday to confirm...if you need some extra man power with your zc swap let me know also...later broda
