Best price on SFI rated roll bar padding?
If you don't need the SFI sticker, OG Racing has the high impact padding for $10.75 a 3 foot length. Doesn't have the sticker, but it's the same build; dense and hard with a smooth surface, not the soft closed-cell stuff. http://www.ogracing.com
I've read, that its not quite the same
its more dense than the soft foam stuff
but not as dense as the SFI stuff
I need about 11 three foot pieces
so at $20 a pop, its over $200
so if I can save even $5 a piece thats a good savings

33 feet? Is this for multiple cages? I sure hope so!
Like already posted, Summitracing.com has the best deal on SFI padding. Buy the summit racing brand, it's the cheapest!
I just bought some myself in the .5" thinkness!

That seems like WAY to much padding man. You really only need padding where your head will contact the bar, and possible where your legs and arms will stike as well. But even doing all that, I would think that 33 feet is a bit much. It's much easier to buy another stick or 2, then send it back! Keep that in mind!

I would say that the A pillar ones you can drop. You can also drop the diagonal because you should never come in contact with that! Remember, you want to be strapped in the car TIGHT, so you don't really move at all. You should never be able to move in the car enough to contact the diagonal.
Are you having nascar door bars, or just X braces?

door bars are nascar style
if the chair brakes, then I can hit the diagonal
and my arm can hit the A pillar
I'd rather just pad the **** outta everything

It's your money! You can spend it how you like. If your trying to pad everything, then that should do it!
If you seat actually breaks from the force of the impact, hitting the cage is the last thing I would worry about.
Your seat should obviously be VERY secure!
What class are you going to run in the future? Some don't allow nascar style door bars on passenger side. I would check into first if that is what your doing!
Sounds like you have got the padding added up, just call up summit and order it up. Comes in red or black, or blue I think!
