Whats up fellas, i am about to purchase my first bike and im really interested in the '04 600RR. Any Pros or Cons on this bike, any helpul info. on it? Do u guys like it? TIA
Pros: Handling, brakes, center up exhaust, race ergos
Cons: Seat is hard on the *** after 50 miles or so.
Overall, I love my 600RR. I just took it out to the track the other day and had nothing but a good time on that bike. I recommend anyone that has one to take it out to the track. That's where the bike shines.
*Since you're a "newbie," I recommend getting some road time under your belt before going to the track.

Couldn't this problem be solved by just getting a new seat?

True, you can get a Corbin seat, which I heard is waaaaay more comfortable.
I don't use my 600RR to commute much, so I opt for the hard seat because I can move better when I'm at the track/canyons.

Wow! A new Gixxer 1000? Careful where you go. I got my RR for around $7,600.
The seat does suck.

how'd you muster that deal??? MSRP is at $8,599. after tax/licensing/etc. the total bill OTD was damn near $10,200. that was the determining factor on me settling with a suzuki
