How much would you pay for a radiator flush?
I need to flush my radiator fluid and refill it, I would do it myself but nah, I have not done it yet so I'll learn later. Local lube shop said 40.00 and I hung up in their face. It shouldn't be any more than 30 bucks right?

places charge around 40 around here also, which is really ridiculous because it's so easy. you should really learn to do it yourself

i know everyone wants to get the most out of your hard earned money.
but you have to see the labor rates and how long these jobs really take. Most labor rates are about $50-70 depending on where you are at.
a coolant flush takes 20-30 min. and most ofthen they do a pressure test as well and check all the hoses and lines. thats about $30 in labor + the coolant which is about $8.00
so $40 is reasonable for a job like that.
