Default Euro GP spoiler

holy smack!!!! Taku up front!!!!! wooo!!!! all you sato haters need to sit down. in only his second year as a F1 driver he's up front row in qualifying and scoring decent points when his engine or transmission doesnt blow.

although it is true that 3rd driver davidson is posting some good lap times when he's on track, others are certainly noticing and he'll likely be picked up next year by some other team.

now he's just gotta get an awesome start like in Monaco and maybe he'll get the edge on MS in the long run. That is if he doesn't blow up.

as the f1 announcers said, there isn't much takuma could be doing to damage the longevity of his motors. they chalk it up to bad luck if takuma has "good" luck, he and button can push ahead of williams and renault and be a strong 2nd to schumi.

Its almost worth the $5 to see an engine let go in such spectacular fashion. Bonus points for anyone making that much smoke AND fire as well. Bravo. Great TV.

My power went out after the first round of stops (~lap 10) and came back on right after the German national anthem. Bummer.

See, this is what happens when you **** off a multi-time world champion. He goes out and bitch-slaps everyone into next week. The man pitted from the *lead* and came out *in the lead*. Sonofabitch...

Good call.

In 2 years, he'll be smart enough not to try a "low percentage" move like he did on Barichello. No way in hell he makes that stick. Rubens even gave him room once he realized what he was trying and he still whacked him. That ties Montoya for the "Bonehead move of the race" award. He'll learn. And when he does, he'll be very, very good.

How is it that McLaren manages to blow up 8 times in 14 starts (7 races, two drivers) only one year after putting their driver within a couple of points of winning the championship.

Kimi to team: "Hello, team, I quit. Really."

I woke up to hear "and Schumacher is pulling away by two seconds a lap!" and immediately fell back asleep. I'll probably watch the repeat tonight.

I tuned in about 40 laps to go. It had such possibility to have a Ferrari- BAR-BAR podium but Sato tried a pass that required a leap of faith, all of the stars to be aligned, and Rubens to drive like school girl. Rubens term of "amateur" in the interviews was strong but about right. Then the engine blew.

Again it was Ferrari 1-2 followed by the best of the rest and the Driver's points reflects the podium. MS way out front with Rubens there followed a safe distance by Button. Who'da thunk Renault and BAR would be #2 and #3 in the constructors points this far into the season? Norbert Hauge of Mercedes as got to be at his wit's end and sitting on pins and needles that his bosses aren't short sighted remember his previous accomplishments.

Darn, Tyson. I opened this up expecting to see your ride pimpin' new aerodynamics, and it's just F1 stuff.

i only can get the live timing since i dont have satellite tv, but basedo n the numbers, sato really didnt make a proper timing for the pass and should have waited since he was lapping rubens generally faster. to have done it at the first "possible" opportunity was brash. timing showed he was only 0.3s behind at the line which is close, but typically not close enough and plus ferraris were the fastest down the straight anyway. but, this is totally on the opinion of not having seen the incident.

im also further amazed that his engine blew when he at least could have contributed to the BAR vs Renault rivalry. well, at least it helped button.

yeah Sato came from pretty far back. He should've waited longer. Hell with the pace he was going he prolly could've gotten Rubens at the NGK chicane
