Well I dunno but 2.3 is the average 60ft for most Hondas... you should be able to pull of 2.2s at least tho... once you drop your car those 2.2s are bye bye tho... so make sure you get the camber and whatever suspension mods necessary to get your traction back to where it belongs (2.2 for street)... That mph is kinda low for a B18C1 with i/h/e... might be your ecu hehe... who knows

You're shifting at 8200 right? Cuz seriously 92mph is what bone stock B18C1 would usually get... You did manage a 14.9 though... how heavy is your car? got a weigh station around? hehe... subwoofers or something? is that an EX?

edit: oops read it wrong that was a 14.9 @ 92... diff tires then? 60ft? but hmm 93.7 is still kinda low hehe... are those 15s? 16s? tire size?

those tires arent made for drag racing.. no matter how expensive they are.

get some slicks. and you'll drop times by .5 to 1 full second

I dunno about a full sec on stock gsr motor wif bolt ons...

Half a sec sure

So far the rule has worked for me... every .1 off the 60ft = .2 off 1/4mile (only if the mph is similar due to the tire pressure/diameter)

He's pulling 2.45's. lets say you can get a 1.8 at best. thats already .6 off the times. and with your own rule of .1 off the 60ft. thats pretty close to 1 full second.

i had a friend racing a stock b16a3 in a 92 hatch... using street tires he learned to slip the clutch just right to pull 2.1 60'

of course this causes a lot of wear on the clutch, but i guess that's just part of drag racing

another thing to try is getting the weight of the car down, on race day, strip it down as best you can, just ask yourself "do i need it?" and go from there

btw... my friend's best time: 14.1@97 mph

I dropped my times from a 2.3xx to a new best of 1.9xx by installing a new clutch and running 22x8x15 MT slicks. and yeah you can drop off a full sec with slicks. Next week i'm gonna try some 20 slicks see how they do.

That's 1.2 Secs off the time according to rule but it'll actually be .8 off ET becuz to pull 1.8 60ft you need ultra light 13 drag rims wif good slix... i dont think a 1.8 is possible wif a gsr motor and bolt ons... maybe, just maybe if he had beter suspension and all a 1.9 however is possible but he'll need that clutch...

What's your tire pressure set at? I normally run 16-18 psi on 15" azenis. Is this your first time racing? Try to play with the clutch, not just dump it, feather it, you'll get it.

why did you get 2.5" piping?
you want a good vacum to set up in the piping and from what i have heard, 2.25 is optimum for NA engines... unless the are realy built up... anyone else think so?

More Rev's. Try launching at 6000rpm might have more spin but you'll go faster..

I would have a look around and see if you can get some DC integra springs that are longer and heavier and just use them, I know some guys over here use Accord springs in there cars and just cut them.. just stick them in the back and try to get the front lower but unless you have traction bars you wont want it much harder..

That's a no no! hehe... Trust me that's a little too high... 6000 is good for drag radials tho The key is to get out of the hole hehe... it's all about that 60ft... practice dumping and then feathering the gas, vice versa, or even feathering both... Practice makes perfect. But your high 2.3s to low 2.4s is a normal # for dropped Hondas. Like I said before tho, 2.2 is what you should be getting if that car was never dropped (or if the camber is correct to it's best so you get the contact with tires to ground)

Since you not using soft tires, you don't want to go over 4500 on a bolt on B18C1 setup.
