Default Traction bar gurus, your opinion on different types of driving?

I have a 96 Civic hatchback which I drive daily for now as well as drag race at the strip and auto cross/road race. I know the benefits of having it at the strip, but could some of you explain to me what the benefit of running run at a track/course be if any?

for road racing im not sure if it would really help im not too sure. from wut ive heard the tie rods on that hook to the crossmember part of the traction bar adds unsprung weight to the lower control arm. which will change ur braking and steering but i doubt the tie rods weigh that much and u can take them off easily.
