can you show me a picture of your exhaust if you have one. I think it is 60 MM, however many inches that is. Is that how big yours is?

Tanabe RM's are 2.38" or 60mm

two (three) problems inherent in their design though:

1.) 'fish scale' resonator absolutely kills flow
2.) bottleneck at b-pipe (although the newer ones don't have this)
3.) louder than they have to be, it's just stupid

Tweak - who bought an RM, and now runs the Fujitsubo RM-01A

wish i could afford that.

1.) it is loud especially when there is a load on the motor such as extra weight or AC

2.) mine doesnt bottle neck

3.) i agree the resonator blows

I have a Racing Medallion. It's damn loud. It sounds nice, but damn it's loud. It's not a bad exhaust, I like mine, but there are better choices out there if you're looking to spend as much as you would on a brand new piece.

if you're gonna buy tanabe, get the super medalion hyper , it's about half as loud as the regular medalion.. and i've got nothing but good comments about in the 2 weeks i've had it so far

It's a cool exhaust...cutting edge when I bought mine. Have you checked out Kteller's offerings?
