Default racing seats...

How are the racing seats with the plastic things in the head or top of seat feel? Is it annoying when you lay your head against it? I need seats cause mine have holes so i'm looking at corbeau trs seats.

Do you think it is just with the cheap knockoff seats that the plastic will rub your head or even with real recaros and sparcos?

if i recline the seats to a certain degree, i can feel the plastic thing at the back of my head, but when i position the seat just like the how its pictured, its really compfortable and the plastic thing levels with the middle of the neck

i bet its not that difficult to sew up a cover for the plastic thing, maybe with some padding,
like a little mini pillow type thing.

Are two barely used sparco torinos look new they were used in a show car just for show. Is it a good deal to buy them both for 900?

its a good deal.
if they come with sliders and seat brackets is even a better deal
and the plastic area on the torino seats is recessed a bit so it won't be hitting your head as easily

Thats what I was looking at with the torinos the plastic looks that way. They are just the seats though...But they are local at Titan motorsports I wish they came with brakets but I guess they were in a Supra show car..

I'm almost 5'10" and have had problems with the plastic peice hitting the base of my skull at times.

I'll chime in and say that the Sols are the way to go as well. I have some in my car and wouldn't trade them for anything.

yes, you swap the del sol rails with the civic (assuming you have a civic) rails, and they'll bolt right in.
