Default Eg6 Engine question

A friend of mine got a honda civic front clip. It was claimed a 1991 civic sir in an EG6 chassis. We checked the clip and it has a imprinted and the tag that says eg6 and some numbers. It came with an automatic transmission with a p30 ecu. We are not sure if this was a first generation or second generation engine. We also checked the sensor wire and still not sure. If this is right it should be direct fit into the US civic 92-95 chassis, right? I did alot of searches but none is relevant to the automatic p30 ecu. You would think that the 91 is a first generation right? But EG6 are produced from 1992-95. So we are a bit confused. Thanks in advance.
