ok well my car is started and now the only thing is its smoking from the exhaust manifold??? Any ideas? If u need any more info to fully analyze it let me know.

 

Is it new?

Did you put some wrapping or paint, oil or any other substance on it?

usually there's some burn in on those things IIRC. If you put a oily handprint on it, that's your source.

 

well heres the deal, 70000 mile d16z6, been sitting for like a month and a half and i just put new rad fluid, 93 octance gas, oil and a new oil filter. Now i just replaced the headgasket and the clutch and everyhting is perfect except smoke from the stock exhaust mani.

 

Replace the header and be happy!

yeah but i dont think thats it i think theres heyong the stock exahust manifold that is causing smoke from beneath it and i needed to know if anyone knows what it is by any chance and i dont want to hear replace the header its not going to make a difference.
